100th Day of School!

Good Morning Families,

Wow I can’t believe our 100th day of school is quickly approaching! On Friday January 24th, we have some fun things planned to celebrate.

Here are just a couple quick announcements to go with our celebration:

1.  On Friday your child is invited to wear a homemade t-shirt celebrating 100 days of learning! (Please note your child still needs to wear uniform bottoms: pants or skirt and school shoes.) If you choose to participate, your students shirt must depict 100 in some way. You may be as creative as you’d like, attached are some examples to get the creative juices flowing! Pinterest is also a black hole of fun ideas too! Please remember, no pop-culture characters. I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

2. We need your help creating our 100th Day of School snack mix! We will be shorting 10 groups of 10 snacks to make a yummy mix of 100. Follow the link to sign-up for a supply.

3. To help us celebrate, we will also be incorporating our January Service Project with the number 100. As a grade level our goal is to collect 100 canned food items to donate to the House of Refuge.  House of Refuge provides transitional housing and supportive services to homeless families.  These families include about 100 adults and 150 children; many of which are women and children.  All items must be delivered by the afternoon of the 24th.

We are so proud of how far each child has come in just 100 short days, we cannot wait to celebrate all of their success! Please let me know if you have any questions. Have a wonderful day!
