Week 33 April 20-April 24

Happy Sunday families! I hope you got to enjoy some sunshine this weekend! Ellie went for her first family bike ride with us this weekend and she couldn't stop squealing with delight!

Please text or email me a picture of your child's drawing for our class tshirt by tomorrow evening.
Don't forget to sign up to read with Mrs. Moore this week! HERE is the link.

If you haven't gotten a chance to get caught up with Dragon Masters, we will continue and finish book 3 next week!  This is a book we were reading aloud in class for fun. CLICK HERE to listen to the chapters we have read so far.

Scroll down to see some pictures you shared from this week!

Ready for her bike ride!

Happy 6th Birthday Audrey!

Here is a look at next week:

Spalding:This week we will continue to review phonograms and learn 4 new spelling words. Our words this week will be: six, boy, book, by.

Sight Words:This week we will review list 10 all week. Thank you for practicing with your child during reading time at home, we have seen great progress!

Literature: Our story this week will be “The Princess and the Pea." We will explore the original version and read another silly version. Our poem this week is "She Sells Seashells by the Seashore."

Math:
We are working on numbers to 100.  We are first going to look at numbers by groups of ten. Ten groups of ten equals 100.  We will then practice writing numbers to 100 and counting by 5s and 2s.
